For our European Innovation Center located in Prague (Roztoky) we are looking for:

Software Engineer – Industrial Automation

The newly established Innovation Center in Prague (Roztoky), Czech Republic, is Eaton’s fifth global Innovation Center with “Power of One” capabilities for Energy Efficient Power Systems including Electrification of Transportation, Vehicle, and Aircraft applications.

It will serve Eaton's global customers to develop next generation power management solutions that make electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power operate more efficiently, effectively, safely and sustainably. For more information, visit www.eaton.com/eeic.

Position Responsibilities:

·
Design and implementation of Windows embedded based devices for industrial automation

·
Design and implementation of software communication modules

·
Create engineering documentation of software products

·
Work on maintenance of existing software products

·
Co-operation with/support of test team, preparation of test strategies

Required knowledge and skills:

·
BSc/MSc Degree in Informatics/Cybernetics/Electrical engineering

·
Excellent knowledge of C/C++, experience in OOP (object oriented programming) technology

·
Able and motivated to work in a complex software environment

·
General knowledge of softwaredevelopment processes

·
Experience in embedded software engineering (preferably Windows CE) an advantage

·
Knowledge of MS-Windows programming technologies and tools beneficial

·
Knowledge of automation communication protocols and PLC an advantage

·
Fluent in English

·
Technical German language beneficial
