This is a specialist role, forming part of Eaton's EMEA marketing operations' function managing Eaton’s marketing automation platform and associated processes and systems. The holder of this role will be highly analytical, comfortable with data and keen to use marketing technology in the pursuit of marketing excellence.
This is a graduate entry role responsible for design, quality assurance, execution, maintenance and reporting for automated marketing programs and email distribution. This role is focused on the execution of Eaton’s marketing automation platform and related tasks.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Assists in the technical conceptualization of demand creation, nurturing and lead scoring program strategy
• Creates emails, landing pages, forms and reports within the marketing automation platform, including templates for use by others within the marketing function
• Creates nurturing and scoring programs to support the marketing function
• Creates audience segmentations to effectively target promotions
• Performs A/B tests on all elements of our marketing mix (lists, e-mail templates, landing pages, offers, etc.)
• Integrates other online media ( search and social) and offline media into marketing automation system, nurture paths, and reporting
• Monitors, analyzes, and tunes campaigns to maximize ROI
• Enforces best practices in email deliverability, readability and conversion-focused design
Create marketing dashboards of key performance indicators
• Documents marketing automation platform (MAP) processes, programs and procedures
• Monitors and reports on effectiveness metrics related to tactics and programs managed by the MAP and related applications
• Standardizes, cleanses and uploads contact lists into the MAP
• Trains marketing resources on how to run reports and accomplish basic tasks within MAP

Competencies:
• Verbal and written communication
• Data evaluation skills, with the ability to extract and interpret data from various sources to offer creative solutions and business decisions
• Project management capabilities, the ability to specify project timeframes, dependencies and risk factors
• Microsoft Excel skills
• Process diagramming skills (e.g. Visio)
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
Knowledge:
• Marketing practices
• Data standardization and normalization
• Knowledge of HTML

Education:
• Bachelor's degree, ideally in computer science / information technology
