The Lean Coordinator will lead the ELSS (Eaton Lean Six Sigma) function in the filtration manufacturing plant in Altlussheim. The Lean Coordinator position is responsible for the deployment of proven tools and processes of the Eaton Business System (EBS) and Eaton Lean Six Sigma (ELSS) in order to drive performance excellence to improve the competiveness and customer satisfaction as measured through Eaton´s prescribed metrics and standard assessment practices. Also you will improve your supervising skills during the practical supervising of a production area (approx. 15 employees) by using the Lean Tools.

 

 

Responsibilities:

· Coordinates and leads Continuous Improvement Kaizen events with  managers, frontline leaders, engineers, staff, and operators.
· Liaise with the operational areas (Production, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering)  to evaluate customer returns for root cause and corrective actions, utilizing formal problem solving tools such as A3, 8D analysis, PFMEA’s, Control plans, etc. and update operations standard work and product documentation in line with findings.
· Conducts Eaton Lean System (ELS) assessments, and identify performance gaps. Monitors the assessment outcome and corrective action plans, and impact on business results.
· Monitor ELSS activity, through lean committees and appropriate key-performance-indicators (KPIs).
· Identify & promote Best-Practices within Plant and the Global Community of Practice.
· Supervising of a production area (approx. 15 employees) by using the Lean Tools.

Desired profile

Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)

Requirements :

· Bachelor degree - ideally Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
· Formal training/certification in Lean with at least 3 years of proofen experience in an industrial area.
· High level of commitment and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven capability to lead change in a team environment.
· Strong analytical skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects/activities.
· Experienced Lean trainer and coach.
· Knowledge of Quality Engineering tools is an advantage.
