Digital and Marketing Communications Specialist

 

Location: Moscow

 

This role will be responsible for driving and developing digital tools and outbound digital marketing activities as well as working with Eaton’s digital systems.  

PRIMARY FUNCTION is to support globally focused effort across Eaton to profitably grow business in Russia. Develop and drive communications strategy/plan that is complimented/enhanced by business marketing communications designed to create higher visibility and understanding of Eaton’s businesses and expanding products and services in Russia.   

 

The Essential Functions:

 

·  Manage/maintain communications program and strategy with the support of Manager, Communications EMEA and General Manager.
·  Work with marketing colleagues (product management team, Electrical communications specialists, Marketing specialists) to support execution of marketing plans, including marketing communications outreach.
·  Coordinate and develop relations with Russian business and trade media; oversee PR agency performance with the support of Manager, Communications, EMEA.  Support generation of feature stories from successful customer solutions and where Eaton is a major mention. 
·  Oversee digital communications, primarily Country web-site with the support of Eaton’s creative services support center in Pune, and other agencies as appropriate and in close cooperation with marketing teams in businesses – in order to develop an engaging web-site.
·  Manage of development and support digital tools for key segments and target audience
•  Drive internal communications initiatives.

·  Build the Eaton brand through superior marketing and corporate market focus programs.  Promote and advance external, internal, marketing and digital communications standards in working with EMEA HQ, the business entities in Europe and at Eaton Center
·  Actively interface with Eaton’s EMEA Headquarters communications team as well as business unit marketing communications professionals in Russia, EMEA and the United States to help position local communications plans.
·  Expert at using web content management, email marketing automation, and other content management systems and processes
·  Optimize digital estate for search engines and work with work content authors to follow best practice
·  Operationalize social promotion of relevant content using standard social channels
·  Ensure all channels follow corporate guidelines and best practices relating to privacy, identity, trademark usage, copy approval process, etc.
·  Leverage central website/social dashboards to track and report on agreed metrics to monitor site engagement, content effectiveness and recommend changes to publishing processes
·  Manage of Automation systems integration into Russian marketing processes

 

Qualifications:

 

• Marketing Communications Experience (not less than 2 years)

• Digital channel management experience  (websites, SEO,and social media channels)

• Thorough knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of media relations, marketing communications, internal communications and advertising.

• Experience of working with media via PR agency or directly, not less than 1 year

• Advanced computer skills.

• Fluent written and spoken English, strong Russian including grammatical skills, copyrighting and editorial skills .

• Strong organizational and project management skills

• Experience working with cross-functional and international teams in a dynamic environment

• Experience of working in B2B marketing would be an advantage

• Previous corporate, marketing communications and/or agency experience with industrial background is a benefit.
