Job Description
Provides analytical and technical support for Eaton’s Treasury processes linked to systems, and assists in development of Treasury systems. Deliverables include correct and streamlined data & reports supporting the core Treasury functions of cash management, liquidity planning, and foreign exchange.
A. Provides frontline Treasury processes and systems support to Global Cash Management’s technical architecture, including Eaton’s hosted Treasury Management System, AvantGard Quantum. Maintains interfaces with financial
systems and preserves banking portal connectivity.
B. Consults and coordinates with internal and external resources, to optimize the use of Global Cash Management systems by creating more streamlined processes, managing change in the organization. Resources include AvantGard
Quantum, Treasury and Accounting.
C. Troubleshoots technical systems issues as needed, including the prioritization and escalation of such issues. Issues should be resolved with the Treasury system team and should include timely coordination with team members with a goal of providing accurate system data.
D. Evaluates technical opportunities, drives & implements approved changes, including the design and development of new reports, which assist in streamlining Treasury processes. The scope of evaluation would include discussions with the Finance areas of Treasury and Accounting.
E. Maintains Quantum static data structure to the Eaton standard. Establishes new data items by manual or batch processing, writes SQL queries, maintains user access, and creates and updates crystal reports.
F. Assists with internal and external audit requirements, as needed, including SOX compliance. Deliverable is to increase transparency in corporate governance and financial reporting.

Desired profile

Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Minimum 1 year work experience in database administration, systems management or finance
Must be legally authorized to work in the US without Company sponsorship now or in the future
No relocation is offered for this position. Candidates must reside within a 50 mile radius of the work location
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or IT preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft office products
Experience with financial systems
Knowledge of SQL queries and databases, Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP), script writing (macros/batch), report design and report writing experience
Develops test scripts and execution, including user acceptance as part of larger initiatives.
Exposure to Crystal report writing; SunGard Quantum system preferred.
