Scheduling Analyst / Executive – Traffic Rights (Airline) 

Our client operates a fleet of 92 aircraft from its bases in The UK, Germany, Scandinavia and Belgium. 

Position: Short Term Scheduling and Traffic Rights Executive 
Location: Manchester, Lancashire 
Contract type: 6 month contract with the potential to become permanent. 
Salary: £25,000 

About the Role: 
The Scheduling Analyst / Executive will manage current season flying programme and fulfil traffic rights requirements for future flying programme. You will manage current season flying programme with regards to Tour Ops changes, operational requirements (including aircraft tail assignment) and airport slot portfolio. 

You will produce and submit flying programmes, reports and statistics, and liaise with operational departments, external suppliers, airport slot coordinators and governmental entities with regards to flight changes. You will ensure all required traffic rights for current and future flying programme are in place (designations, licenses etc.) and complete applications of Overflight permits for all applicable flights. 

You will represent our client’s interests with regards to Traffic Rights before governmental entities, and communicate commercial changes throughout the business. 

You will also utilise the airline slot portfolio due to programme changes, and ensure all Traffic Rights and Overflight Permits are in place. 

About You: 
Effective communication is key to this role, along with the ability to work under pressure. You will have an understanding the impact of commercial changes and requirements to all customers, and have the confidence to build and maintain relationships with customers, colleagues and external partners. 

Ideally you will have Airline Operations / planning experience, with a knowledge of Traffic Rights and requirements. You will also have an understanding of IATA Schedules procedures. 

University degree in Business Administration or Economics, Aviation related courses or equivalent work experience in any production planning/ commercial planning- work environment would be preferable. 

You may have experience of the following: Scheduling Executive, Airline, Traffic Rights, IATA, Legislation, Overflight Permits, Scheduling Analyst, Planning, Operations, Transport, Aviation, Resource Planning etc.
