Quality Assurance Manager (Refrigeration & HVAC) 

Our client has rapidly become one of the leading retail maintenance service providers in the UK. Today, they support over 3000 stores and 20 head office sites, across the UK. They work with their colleagues to make sure all their sites operate properly. Ultimately, the work they do means their customers and colleagues have a comfortable and enjoyable environment to shop and work in. They are involved at all stages of a store lifecycle. From development through to the opening of a store, they make sure maintenance requirements are considered and delivered to the highest operational and sustainable standards. 

Position: Assurance Manager 
Location: Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire (Commutable from Hertford, St Albans, Stevenage, Luton) 
Salary: £Competitive 

ROLE: 
The Quality Assurance Manager will quality assure the design, installation and commissioning of engineering services and equipment within development projects. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
a) Ensure compliance and conformity to design and specification. 
b) Provide technical and engineering support to capital maintenance managers, delivery managers and maintenance colleagues. 
c) Help to identify best cost solution whilst complying to design standards and specifications. 
d) Support the development team with technical assistance. 
e) Align and support regional DM’s to ensure consistent message. 
f) Provide performance feedback on Consultants and Contractors within development program. 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: 
a) HNC, HND or Degree. 
b) Proven experience in Refrigeration, HVAC, engineering, building services or maintenance. 
c) Experience in a multi-site retail environment and of setting standards for developing buildings.
