They currently have an exciting opportunity to join as part of the Group People Development team based in their Global Chiswick Head Office. 

Position: Group People Development Graduate 
Location: Chiswick, London 
Salary: £18,000 pro rata 
Contract: Fixed term contract until 31st May 2016

About the Role: 
The Group People Development Graduate role aims to provide fundamental understanding of how our client develops its global employee. It will enable first-hand experience of how people development fits within the overall HR strategy for our client, as well as practical experience in contributing to Group-Level People Development solutions, with the opportunity to gain excellent hands-on vocational experience in co-ordinating strategic people development in a fast-paced, commercial, customer focused environment. This will be a great way to kick-start a career in people development or a related field. 

The departments: 
The Group People Development team is responsible for supporting the development of our client’s 3000 or so global employees who are based in across 3 regions: Asia Pacific, the Americas and Europe, Middle-East and Africa (EMEA). 

They are involved in everything from selecting and recruiting the most talented people into the organisation to making their people managers more effective and designing tools and development opportunities that will make people more effective and more satisfied at work. This is a big challenge, but a very rewarding job and one which you will be directly involve in. 

The People Development team is made up of a small but strong team of two, however, they get their work done by interacting with all of their HR colleagues – there are over 30 professionals across the globe so you’ll gain great experience of working closely as part of an extended team. 

About You: 
To be considered for this role, you will be currently undertaking, or have recently completed an undergraduate or postgraduate course / qualification in learning and development, human resources, occupational psychology or a related field. You will need to have, or be on course to achieve a degree classification of 2:1 and above. 

The Group People Development Graduate will have the opportunity to gain valuable vocational experience– in particular they will be provided with professional practitioner development. The Graduate will contribute to Group People Development activities across the employee lifecycle such as leadership programmes, talent management and succession planning, annual personal development reviews, employer feedback surveys, online interactive tools, e-learning & psychometrics. It is essential that the Graduate demonstrates commitment and contribution to the vision and objectives of the department, evidenced through showing positive, proactive, can-do and solution-focused mind-set, attitude and behaviours at all times.
