About the Role:
The Graduate / Junior Civil Engineer will assist the Head of Professional Services in the delivery of Civil and Structural Engineering projects for a variety of clients.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have an accredited degree qualification in Civil Engineering, relevant experience in a design environment and be working towards chartered or incorporated engineer status.
Some experience in feasibility analysis, scheme design, detail design and preparing written technical reports is required as is experience in carrying out site visits and surveys, inspections and supervise sub-contractors. You must also be proficient in design of drainage systems (Surface & foul), SUDS design and Flood Risk Assessment.
Experience working in the rail environment, undertaking design projects and carrying out infrastructure inspections, or experience in building information modelling is desirable. Knowledge of the use of the MicroDrainage suite of hydraulic analysis software would also be an advantage.
