Location: Royston, Hertfordshire (Commutable from Cambridge, Welwyn Garden City, Hitchin, Stevenage, Saffron Walden)

About the Role:
The Brand Design Manager’s role is to take responsibility for developing and managing all creative, in line with the company’s brand identity. Reporting to, and closely collaborating with the Creative Director, this role also involves close relationships with the rest of the company: Product Development, Retail Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain and Purchasing.
This position is instrumental in influencing and driving the creative strategy and processes for all creative output. You will develop, manage and implement creative design strategies to protect, promote and differentiate the organisation’s brand and image within the marketplace, undertaking regular analysis and evaluation of marketing and brand performance, adjusting creative approach as appropriate to resolve issues identified.
You will help develop and bring the Creative Director’s brand vision to life, being hands-on where appropriate and acting on their behalf when absent, and will drive the creative team to stretch thinking and delivery.
You will also be responsible for overseeing the creation and implementation of brand guidelines for all media; accountable for ensuring all creative output is consistent across all multi-channel touch points, liaising closely with in-house creative, VM, local teams and third parties.
About You:
To be considered for this role, you will be educated to degree level or similar, with significant experience in design, with experience in creative strategy and design management. You will have creative awareness and an ability to combine an innovative approach with commercial ideas, and have significant design experience across a range of functions including print and digital media.
You will have experience of dealing with external agencies and suppliers, and have excellent creative flair with the ability to predict forthcoming moods, trends, themes. You will have a thorough understanding and appreciation of the importance of profitability, with experience of working to time and budget parameters.
You will have strong IT Skills, being both PC and Apple MAC proficient, with advanced knowledge of design software packages including Adobe InDesign, Keynote, along with all Microsoft Office software.
