General Manager Spain M/W
Reporting directly to the CEO of the Olyos Group, the General Manager Spain will take over the management of our Spanish subsidiary DRASANVI, in order to further develop its very strong potential. Drasanvi is :
- more than 250 employees, divided between :
o its headquarters, production plants and logistics depots, based in Léon
o a sales force present throughout Spain,
o its subsidiaries in Costa Rica, Chile, Peru and Portugal.
- 23% growth over the last two years, with a national and international presence.
- A leading herbal brand, present in 1,500 pharmacies and 80 El Corte Ingles stores, with a strong reputation among Spanish consumers, thanks in particular to former partnerships with the Spanish soccer team and ex-tennis player Rafael Nadal.
Description of main tasks
With solid experience in company management, in-depth knowledge of the Spanish dietary supplements, cosmetics and sales markets, and a real ability to lead and motivate teams, the General Manager's main tasks will be to :
Strategic management :
* Develop and implement Drasanvi's business development strategy in line with OLYOS Group objectives.
* Define and monitor Drasanvi's growth and profitability targets.
* Analyze local and international market trends to identify new opportunities and anticipate risks.
Management and leadership :
* Manage and lead local teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performance work environment.
* Ensure the implementation of best practices in human resources management and talent development.
* Manage day-to-day operations, optimizing processes and guaranteeing product/service quality.
* Supervision/coordination with the managers of Drasanvi subsidiaries in Portugal, Costa Rica, Peru and Chile.
Financial and operational management :
* Oversee the budget, control costs and guarantee profitability.
* Set up key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor financial results.
* Ensure compliance of activities with local legal, tax and regulatory standards.
Business development and partnerships :
* Manage sales initiatives to develop local and international clientele.
* Negotiate and maintain relationships with partners, customers and other stakeholders.
* Identify growth opportunities through strategic partnerships or acquisitions.
Communication and reporting :
* Ensure communication between Drasanvi and OLYOS Group headquarters.
* Report on performance to the Group's Executive Committee and Supervisory Board.
* Represent the company at trade shows and other events.
Desired profile
Profile required :
Professional experience :
* University degree in management, business or related field.
* Minimum 10 years' experience in a management position, preferably in the dietary supplements sector.
* In-depth knowledge of the Spanish market, its economic, cultural and regulatory specificities.
Skills :
* Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams.
* Strong financial management, strategic planning and decision-making skills.
* Strong results orientation and ability to work under pressure while ensuring objectives are met.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to represent the company at the highest level.
* Fluency in Spanish and English (knowledge of French is a plus).
