In the UK, the legal team supports a wide range of E.ON businesses, such as renewables, district heating, B2B and residential customers, just to name a few, all working hard to make the best deals possible for our worldwide business and ultimately our customers.

By providing us with sound legal advice, you'll play a pivotal part in that. This is a great opportunity to cut your teeth on a wide range of commercial law issues. Our in-house team have an expansive brief – handling everything from project development, construction, joint ventures, asset management, new products, advertising and sponsorship to name just a few. You'll be there to support them as they provide clear and practical legal advice to the wider business.

As well providing you with lots of exposure, this role will teach you how to balance legal risk with wider commercial imperatives.

To succeed, you'll need to be a qualified solicitor who's keen to learn. If you have some experience in relevant fields of law, that would be useful.. What's important is that you're enthusiastic, quick to learn, organised and, essentially, a relationship builder. You'll also have a genuine interest in the complex legal issues facing the energy sector.

Qualifications

Essential

· Qualified solicitor
· Commercially focussed and innovative approach
· Broad knowledge of relevant fields of law
· Ability to manage own work load
· Enthusiastic, confident and resilient

Desirable

· Experience of being an impartial adviser to business.
· Experience of energy sector or relevant field, in particular with focus on regulatory legal matters.
