HR Administrator
Graduate job Nottingham (Nottinghamshire) HR / Training
Job description
Responsibilities
E.ON is a global provider of specialised energy solutions. We’re also an important trader in global commodities, working hard to make the best deals possible for our worldwide business and, ultimately, our customers.
Join us as an HR Administrator, and you’ll get fantastic exposure to our HR and Shared Services team in what is a very busy role.
We have around 80 to 100 new people joining us each month and it will be down to you to help us look after around 20 of these people from an administrative point of view. You’ll make sure that each new joiner’s contract is followed through, that they’re paid the right amount, that they’re kept up to date with any T&C changes and that any specific contractual arrangements are confirmed. Put simply, you’ll be on hand to support new joiners with all sorts of queries, primarily over the phone and via email. You’ll be their trusted advisor.
Your role will also involve handling the administration side of things when people leave us, making sure all payments have been made, for example. Across everything you do, you’ll work to deliver our agreed service levels by putting your customers first. You’ll also support the delivery of continuous improvement by suggesting new ways for us to make improvements and achieve efficiencies.
Your specific responsibilities will include producing all relevant correspondence across the employee lifecycle, helping us to embed a customer-centric culture in HR and taking ownership of customer queries through to resolution. If you need to escalate an issue, you’ll then follow-up to make sure everything has been resolved. We’ll be relying on you to keep up to speed with our company policies, collective agreements and employment legislation, updating our HR systems if you need to. You can also expect to investigate and resolve more complex HR admin queries, and to represent the team on key projects to make sure that any possible HR impacts are fully considered.
You’re going to be part of a very supportive team of 30 so potentially this could be your first step into HR. If you have a genuine interest in this field, it’s your enthusiasm, great customer service skills and responsive approach to handling queries that will really count. Show us you have all of that along with a real desire to learn and progress, and not only will you thrive in this role, you could also open up plenty of new opportunities within HR and Shared Services here.
