High Level Description:

Our team needs motivated System Administrator to take over all aspects of the configuration and maintenance of our computer systems. Do you love tackling problems head-on? Do you enjoy coming up with creative solutions to a business’s pain points? Are you constantly updating your knowledge of hardware and software trends and advancements? If you can answer “yes” to those questions, you’ll fit in well with our company. We run a fast-paced but casual office in a supportive atmosphere. As the only IT staff member on our team, you’ll wear lots of hats and gain plenty of valuable experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for: administering and supporting a medium to large production Windows infrastructure; proactive server monitoring; and troubleshooting server and workstation problems in a medium to large networked environment. Additionally, responding to and remediating user requests for assistance, as well as providing internal and external storage and capacity reports will be required. 

Essential Job Functions

·  Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues on wintel servers
·  Manage the configuration and operation of wintel operating systems
·  Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns
·  Respond to and resolve help desk requests
·  Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution
·  Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes
·  Review application logs
·  Install and test computer-related equipment

Basic Qualifications

·  At least two (2) years of experience in a MS Windows server environment with some knowledge of server hardware, account and file security, storage technologies and networking (DNS, TCP/IP and domain relationships), network and operations monitoring; knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues; Ability to respond to help desk requests after hours on a limited basis
·  A working knowledge of file shares and file sharing concepts, and experience with SharePoint site creation, modification, and removal is highly desirable.
·  Experience in diagnosing complex technical issues; trouble shooting network, server and operating systems
·  Must have great skills in customer service skills, basic knowledge in operating systems. Computer technology,
