Sr.Developer/Developer Heathcare

DXC Technology is looking for a Sr. Developer/Developer to join our Healthcare Industry and Software solutions working across multiple, simultaneous data integration engagements with day to day interactions with business sponsors, business partners and technical staff.

Responsibilities:

·  Complete development of units and participate in code reviews.
·  Implement of HL7 standards (v2.x, v3.x & FHIR) to enable data integration across public health and healthcare.
·  Development of engagement specific artifacts to enable data integration including data dictionaries, data traceability matrixes, and test messages
·  Understand and use appropriate tools to analyze, identify, and resolve business and or technical problems.
·  Apply growing technical knowledge to maintain a technology area.
·  Interact with the Client and project roles (e.g., Project Manager, Business Analyst, Data Engineer) as required, to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction.
·  Stay current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies.
·  Analyze and document customer requirements and business workflow for integration implemented
·  Test and validate implemented interfaces based on customer requirements

Education and Experience Required:

·  Typically a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of related experience or a Master's degree and up to two years of experience.
·  2+ years hands on experience with healthcare interoperability and messaging standards, including but not limited to HL7 2.x, HL7 3.x, HL7 FHIR, IHE integration profiles and technical frameworks, and X12 HIPPA transactions and code sets.
·  Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and priorities
·  Ability to explain data integration ideas and HL7 concepts clearly
·  Need good experience in HL7 data mappings and troubleshooting of interfaces during pre and post integration(Production)
·  Ability to analyze business problems and propose effective solutions
·  Experience working with interface engines and clinical workflows or healthcare workflows

Knowledge and Skills:

·  Knowledge of various healthcare applications (e.g. EMR, Lab, etc.)
·  Experience working with SOAP and REST based web services
·  Knowledge of scripting languages (Groovy, JavaScript, Python)
·  Strong understanding of XML technologies (XML, XSD, XSL/XSLT)
·  Working knowledge of networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, SOAP)

Additional experiences that are desired, but not required:

·  HL7 Certification
·  Experience developing integrations using Viaduct or any other ESB
·  Experience in public health / healthcare informatics
·  Experience with standards based vocabulary and terminology including SNOMED-CT and LOINC
