Job Description

A Service Management Integration Architect would design, review and validate Offerings and integrated Service Management Solutions and occasional Infrastructure Solution support.  This is a client facing position that can discuss the requirements and explain the integration solution in a clear, concise, and professional manner. Being able to produce and articulate professional architecture design documents in alignment with DXC standard Offerings and in conformance with corporate roadmaps and Product Readiness.

Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions

·  Assist with new / organic business opportunities within existing account or in pursuit of new business
·  Assist in client development planning and opportunity planning following Agile Pursuit Framework and methodology
·  Promoting, deploying and implementing agreed global initiatives and standards
·  Market Platform DXC and Bionix capabilities to assist in the recognition and growth of the client relationship
·  Communicate effectively and regularly with account and team leadership
·  Coordinate and participate with assigned resources and administrative management
·  Create and maintain required documentation and audit trail
·  Proactive communication of work progress and notification of business opportunity status to feed the pipeline for demand planning

Contribution to Project Technical Designs:

·  Clearly capture client technical requirements and align to solution and delivery team resource availability
·  Translation and creation of technology solutions within existing account or pursuit strategy.  Align current technology footprint moving solution design to a scaled agile environment that enables DXC to upsell additional Offerings.   
·  Understanding the DXC Offerings technology solution, reviewing the solution and cost models comfortable enough to onboard what is approved at Solution Readiness reviews.
·  Accountable for Solution provided can be onboarded using standard automation and delivered with standard Service Levels.
·  Identify the non-standard components of the Solution to be onboarded with associated additional costs.

Technical Design Authority within a project responsible for:

·  Advocacy and ownership of conceptual / shape phases of solution
·  Create and maintain account specific Process Orchestration Specifications, Data Mapping Workbooks and Interface design documents (i.e. Interface Control Documents, Operational Transaction Documents, etc.) for the Service Management applications, data and technology areas based on the end to end Service Management Solution documented in Service Management Logical Model.
·  Conduct project/account design reviews
·  Adhere to Architecture standards, principles and policies at the time of providing solutions
·  Review and approve project design deliverables
·  Contributes to definition of “technical authority” and the associated standards of work

Required Skills and experience:

·  Overall 10+ years of experience preferred.
·  Must have at least 5+ years on Implementation/Development projects for ITSM solutions and tools.
·  Must have at least 2 years of Technical Design and Architecture experience in providing IT Service Management Solutions for client projects with tools such as ServiceNow, Flexera, Azure/AWS, HPOM, discovery capabilities, Notification, Reporting, etc.
·  Must have working knowledge of various integration mechanisms between tools.  (i.e. API, Rest/JSON, ebonding)
·  Well versed with Service Management services such as Operational Service Management (incident, problem, change, release), Monitoring, Reporting, Asset and Configuration Management, Enterprise service desk, Service request, CMDB etc.
·  Must have good understanding and experience working with On-Premise and Cloud Infrastructure.
·  Understanding of federation and Identity Management Solutions.
·  Understanding of Application Architecture
·  Understanding of technical concepts like SAML, SSL, SSO, Webservices, XML, APIs.
·  Must have Very good knowledge of ITILv3 framework and ITILv3 foundation ceritification.
·  Must have fair understanding of the TOGAF framework.
·  ServiceNow Admin Certification.
·  Zeal to learn emerging technologies in different domains but not limited to Service Management, Infrastructure, Cloud and Cyber domains.
