Responsibilities and Duties

Work with key stakeholders to understand business requirements.

Develop and implement new software programs.

Test and maintain software products to ensure availability of the products.

Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues

Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary.

Help support and maintain existing solutions

Help document and train business users on new software programs

Work within an AGILE/DEVOPS team based environment.

Technical Skills (Required)

(2+ years in each of the following)

Demonstrated knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript,  AngularJS, JQuery

Preferred experience with PERL programming language

Experience in multiple other software languages such including Python, .NET, C, JAVA

A strong knowledge of SQL.

Strong knowledge of Linux and working knowledge of Windows Server.

Software collaboration and versioning tools like GITHUB (or equivalent)

Basic Skills(Non Technical)

Ability to work independently and willingness to collaborate with team members and business stakeholders in remote locations and time zones.

Demonstrated understanding of projects from the perspective of both client and business

Flexible and proven ability to adapt to change.

Strong attention to detail.

Willing to constantly learn new technologies, languages and methodologies

Education/Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science required or in an equivalent relevant discipline.

Technical Skills (Optional)

Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.

Experience with Machine Learning languages and platforms including Python, R and TensorFlow

Experience with large scale data warehousing

Experience with Continuous Integration solutions like Jenkins

Experience with Automation Apps like Ansible

Experience with Monitoring solutions like Nagios
