SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer

General Purpose of Position:

SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer who has done 5+ full life cycle implementation and at least one S/4HANA system conversion.  The candidate will lead the team of 3-10 resources.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

·  Hands-on experience with development objects
·  Analyzes business/ functional requirements and prepares development project schedule, tasks, and estimates. Leads coding and other activities as necessary.
·  Performs technical design and documents technical specifications. Ensures compliance of developed solution to underlying solution architecture.
·  Leads daily collaboration efforts with project team members to identify issues and risks associated with the design, implementation, and delivery of assignments.
·  Accountable for design and code reviews, and resolution of defects.
·  Develop HANA objects like CDS views, CE functions and SQL scripts using Eclipse. Application of SAP correction instructions, hot notes, SPAU & SPDD during upgrades. Build and support SM&M across the company using SAP's Express Shipment integration.
·  Support the application development efforts, unit testing, create technical specifications, conduct code review, create and manage transports across SAP Systems.
·   Develop, monitor and support the organization's SAP ERP systems which includes S4 1511 HANA, SAP C4C, SAP BI and SAP GW.
·  Develop test plans and automated scripts to assure expected performance quality levels meet standards in development efforts.  Analyze root cause and provide solutions for production and development issues.
·  Contribute to knowledge base of the SAP Practice

Skills and Experience

·  10+ years of SAP experience as an SAP ABAP consultant and 2+ years of SAP S/4HANA experience
·  At least five SAP end-to-end implementation experience and at least one S/4HANA system conversion experience
·  Proficient with SAP Web IDE and Eclipse IDE
·  Integrate SAP S4 HANA with SAP middleware using IDocs, remote function modules, web services or ABAP proxies.
·  Fine tuning of SAP objects and systems utilizing SAP best practices.

·  Be proactive in identification and resolution of issues that may negatively impact a project or deliverables is required
·  To have combined knowledge of development techniques, application structure, understanding of business processes, personal experience, research capabilities, and interaction with other resources to identify specific problems and propose solutions
·  Able to identify and discuss client expectations as relevant to own area and monitor and report on delivery of what was promised

Education and or Training

·  Undergraduate degree required in math, computer science, engineering, or related discipline with an information technology focus (preferred).
