We are currently looking for to join our dynamic and highly professional international team.

Due to the sustained growth of our DXC Open Health Connect, we are looking for a Principal, Technical Solution Architect with technical background in data & analytics areas.

You will work with various teams globally to lead the design and development of strategic data and advanced analytics solutions for our Healthcare and Life Sciences clients.

You will design and develop technical and architectural solutions to create new cloud-based solutions answering various business needs.

You will oversee new initiatives, developing key action plans, milestones and deliverables in the form of end-to-end analytics demo and prototypes keeping front of mind agile and lean start-up principles
You will research and provide guidance and expert advice on any current or new technology.

You will provide first hand support for building technical solutions in client proposals with a consultative approach
You will Design, model, develop and maintain healthcare and life sciences datasets to support reporting analytics and exploratory analysis.

You will contribute to technical design and ongoing development of the analytics platforms and work with developers and architects to build scalable and supportable infrastructure.

You will participate in reviews and meetings and provide updates on project progress

You will take responsibility for ensuring that technical risks and issues are identified and managed closely at all stages of the design and development

Skills

Five or more years of relevant work experience. 

-Experience in planning, architecture, software development and program management. 
-Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases like Elasticsearch, Cassandra,…

-Deep understanding and experience with cloud computing infrastructure and platforms (AWS, Azure)

-Experience in advanced analytics or statistical modeling would be a plus
-Experience in Big Data and Analytics space including the open source Ecosystem

-Capable of understanding and contributing to the technical solution from design through to code level

-Experience in building with Business Intelligence tools including PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, Kibana or other BI tools 

-Experience in API management (REST) and demonstrable experience in XML, JSON, or OData 

-Strong interpersonal skills and project management skills with the proven ability to work effectively across other organizations.
-Strong analytical & problem-solving skills and strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in dynamic team environments and multi-task effectively

-Strong Project Management skills

-Experience of developing accurate and concise technical documents (Low Level Design documents, Standards documents…etc.) that will be used by colleagues and customers

-Experience delivering and leading technical engagements

-Good understanding of the following concepts: PaaS, Containers, Microservices,Cloud Management Platforms, DevOps / Agile Software development
-Experience in both architecture and implementation-level software design

-Experience in the physical and logical design of database architecture for relational databases, data warehouses and data lakes.

-Experience with distributed computing using a cloud-based tech stack on platforms such as AWS and Azure.

-A desire to remain technically capable and an expert in current technologies

It will be highly valued:

-Experience working as Business Intelligence developer, data engineer, Data Scientist, Analysts or DBA

-Experience with event stream processing technologies such Kafka

-Experience in architecting Distributed Solutions

-Experience in and passion for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies is a plus

-Good knowledge of data concepts including data modelling, data wrangling, data science

-Good knowledge of Healthcare and Life sciences concepts

-Experience designing and implementing reporting and visualization for unstructured and structured data sets

-Knowledge of pharma research data and Healthcare exposure and HL7, SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD, etc….

-Strong interest and experience in data visualization (e.g. D3.JS,…)

-Experience in programming languages (e.g. Java, Javascript,…)
