Vacancy Summary :          

A vacancy has arisen for Clearing Operatives to join the Outclearing Team.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team player with excellent problem solving and communication skills.  The successful applicant will be required to deliver the highest standard of business performance and customer service.  A flexible attitude to work will be a key requirement of the role. 

Duties and Essential Job Functions:

Clearing Operatives carry out multiple tasks within the Centre as determined by their skill level and operational requirements. Hours of work are part time hours during the evening and subject to confirmation.

•       Reports to a RIC Team Leader

•       Responsible for ensuring that security procedures are adhered to including both APACS, RBSG and DXC requirements

•       Responsible for escalating to the RIC Team Lead any occurrences and incidents which may delay the processing of work or affect the SLA’s/SLC’s

•       Responsible for escalating to the RIC Team Lead any issues with hardware/software required to complete your role.

•       Responsible for the maintenance of records

•       Keep abreast of all changes affecting the role.

•       Responsible for prioritising own work load

•       Responsible for ensuring quality systems are adhered to.

•       Responsible for ensuring that the work is being processed within agreed timescales and in line with SLA’s/SLC’s

•       Receive voucher bags in from Ulster Bank Branches via TNT couriers, using bar code scanning

•       Open bags and check batches back against T16 remitted with the work.

•       Image capture (Capture Pass) vouchers received

•       Repair the above vouchers

•       Pack vouchers for secure storing.

Requirements:

·  Proficient with all Microsoft Office Applications – specifically Word, Excel & Outlook
·  Good communication skills with a strong emphasis on customer focus
·  Good organizational skills and an ability to multitask
·  Excellent time and priority management skills
·  The ability to work on own initiative while remaining team focused at all times.
·  A responsible attitude and the ability to prioritise work
·  Remaining calm under pressure
·  Needs to be flexible should Business needs require it.

Preferred:

·  Knowledge of Outclearing Process
·  Previous Banking Knowledge
·  Previous Similar Work Experience
