DXC Technology is looking for a Microsoft Cloud System Engineer to join our team based in Rome.
The candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration and support of cloud based infrastructure using DXC best practices.

Reporting into the Italy Cloud & Platform organization, the Cloud engineer applies his/her knowledge to solve complex business issues. Capable of consulting, designing, testing, implementing,
managing capability requirements, and integrating of Cloud solutions into varied environments.

The candidate will work in a team of architects, infrastructure engineers, developers participating on the technical design, modeling, coding, testing and release of the automated cloud solutions to production.
Minimal skill Required:

·  Strong and solid background in Microsoft Operating System administration skills (5+years).
·  Experience with monitoring and usage collection tools such as Nagios Zabbix and Ceilometer, Check_MK.
·  At least 1 year experience with proven expertise in application containerization management with Dockers.
·  Understanding of Windows, TCP-IP, Routing, Switching, Firewalls, Load balancers, VPN Client To Site and Site To Site and other infrastructure components.
·  Experience designing and using web services APIs (RESTful, SOAP).
·  Knowledge of Big data processing, (i.e., Apache Kafka, Storm, Hadoop, Spark, etc).
·  Knowledge on principal authentication system (i.e. SAML, OAuth,…)
·  Experience in analisys and capacity planning of resource in IT infrastructure;
·  Deep skill on Microsoft Active Directory Infrastructure.
·  Implementation ADFS, DFS and PKI Infrastructure based on MS ADCS;
·  Implementation HA Solution (i.e. MSCS with and without shared storage,…)
·  Knowledge on Tools for manage MS Infrastucture (i.e. MS System Center ,WSUS, ..)
·  Knowledge on last Microsoft Server system (i.e.Windows 2016) features and best practice for installation and configuration;

Experience with any of following will be considered as a plus:

·  Virtualization and/or Cloud: vCenter, Amazon AWS, MS Azure, Google Compute, etc.
·  Experience with emerging web GUI development platforms (AJAX, HTML5, JSON, JQuery, JavaScript)
·  Performance Test Tool (Jmeter, LoadRunner, …)

Education and Certification:

·  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
·  ITIL Foundations certification preferred.
·  Certified Openstack Admistration preferred.
·  Docker Certified Associate preferred.
·  Microsoft MCSA/MCSE.
·  Must have fluent and excellent written / spoken English language
