Joint Design Authority team is logical organization reporting to onsite customer solution architects, providing technical support, leadership and solution design for a complex mission critical SAP environment. Main team consists of DBOs, design and build owners who provide SAP & SAP HANA expertise and consulting services.

Duties and responsibilities

·  Provide overall infrastructure technical design, sizing, documentation, support and expertise for SAP HANA on Linux environment with latest releases and SAP components
·  Test latest technical solutions and components in sandbox environment and provide deployment packages for operations team (technical acceptance testing with vendor follow up)
·  Test of various deployment and implementation scenarios for SAP & SAP HANA and provide documentation and knowledge transfer for operation team
·  Cooperate with SAP developers, vendors, support organizations and act as trusted advisor to customer business streams
·  Create, own and update service unit definitions based on requirements of customer
·  Follow customer development workflow and packaging procedures
·  Improve and optimize architecture and processes based on feedback from operational teams, business solution streams requirements
·  Define standards and control points to be executed by operational teams (Compliance by Design)
·  Provide and document automation enhancements for operations team along with proper knowledge transfer
·  Provide detailed design  and roadmap planning for new SAP projects

Required Knowledge

·  Post-secondary education in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field of studies.
·  Experience and knowledge includes SAP R/3 basis administration including system installations, upgrades, system migrations, back-up/recovery, performance tuning, system monitoring
·  SAP and SAP HANA certified technology consultant’s
·  Thorough understanding of system operating environments and database management including Linux, NT, TCP/IP and SAP HANA.
·  Experience in Linux and SAP HANA system administration, Windows knowledge advantageous
·  Additional DB administration knowledge in ORACLE, MAXDB, MSSQL or DB2 advantageous
·  Good understanding and knowledge of one or several of the following: R/3, BW, SCM, Live Cache, CRM, SRM, XI, Enterprise Portal
·  Excellent analytical problem solving skills
·  Experience formulating overall strategies and operational solution design, strategic and tactical planning process.
·  Fluent in English
·  Professional verbal and written consulting communication skills
·  Deep understanding of IT business environment and processes, focused on design, build and deploy
·  Leadership qualities: integrity, attention to detail, service oriented, goal oriented
·  Leading and coaching working groups and teams in a multi-cultural environment, ability to communicate with all levels within company and customer organizations

We offer salary min. 2800 eur/brutto.
