The Tools Consultant is responsible for supporting and implementing a multitude of tools (SCCM, SCOM, Sitescope, Operations Manager (OMi), Network Node Manager (NNM), Service Manager (SM9), Asset Manager (HPE AM), Propel, Operations Orchestrator (OO), Business Service Management (BSM), Server Automation (SA)) and the underlying infrastructure.  A superior knowledge and demonstrated technical proficiency in large environments is essential, along with advanced troubleshooting skills in all aspects of Windows and Unix platforms.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

· 
Day to Day Tasks:

·  Install and provide 3rd/4th level support in Tool stacks and associated infrastructure listed under “Required Skills”
·  Provide ongoing BAU maintenance of installed tools
·  Respond to break/fix incident, problem, change, SRs within SLAs
·  Deliver Standard Operating Procedure documentation for end-to-end operational connectivity
·  Provide high level technical support and direction to implementation and operations team.
·  Develop on going documentation as part of the client’s nominated change management process, including creating associated technical documentation and representing change concerns to client.
·  Work in conjunction with a Design and deployment teams for operational activities Performing and executing lifecycle management, incident response activities and other BAU tasks including daily health checks
·  Investigate technical problems assigned to the Tools team and engage other SME's to assist in addressing such problems.

Knowledge and Skills:

·  Extensive experience  with the implementation and support of the following tools:
·  HP Sitescope
·  SCCM
·  SCOM
·  HP AM
·  HP OO
·  HP SA
·  HP UCMDB
·  HP BSM / OMi
·  HP Propel
·  HP SM
·  HP NNM
·  Scripting (e.g Perl, Vbscript, Powershell, Java)
·  Windows and Unix Operating Systems
·  Automation (automating repetitive tasks)
·  experience within large enterprise organizations
·  Intermediate level experience in implementation and troubleshooting in Windows and Unix environments

You must hold Australian citizenship and preferably a security clearance.  If you do not hold a security clearance you will  be willing and eligible to have an application processed.

The role requires that you are part of an on-call roster and you will be compensated for this.
