BUSINESS BACKGROUND

DXC's Software Licensing and Management Solutions (SLMS) provides global customers with Software Asset Management (SAM) services to enable them to effectively manage their software costs and compliance.  Using Flexera’s FlexNet Manager Suite (FNMS) and in-house licensing expertise DXC provides customers with a broad range of services from license request management through to optimization services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will deploy and maintain the Flexera tools and infrastructure for new customers.

COMPETENCIES, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

Experience:  Minimum of 3 years’ work experience on Flexera’s FlexNet Manager Suite (FNMS)

Education: Degree/Diploma in Computer Systems or relevant practical experience

Required skills/experience

·  Experience of leading and executing FNMSinstallations/upgrades/fixes.
·  Knowledge of software asset management.
·  Hands on experience working on Windows/Unix/Linux environment. 
·  Experience owning and executing incident management process and system maintenance
·  Experience working in infrastructure and workplace environments with hands on experience building/maintaining interfaces to pull/push raw license consumption information.
·  Ability to work with other tech teams to maintain scripts that extract data from servers and decommission servers when required
·  Strong interpersonal and team building skills
·  Excellent communication (verbal, written, presentation) with internal teams and external end user community
·  Focus on driving continuous process improvements
·  Comfortable working with SQL Management Studio and IIS
·  Self-starter with proven ability to deliver high quality work and to demonstrate a customer focused mindset
·  Enthusiastic and innovative approach to problem solving
·  Ability to manage own time and meet deadlines when working on multiple tasks
