Description

The Solution Integration is a client facing role and the single technical authority for solutioning Add-On existing requests in the DXC organization.  They are the “front door” for all technical Solutioning requests and the liaison between the engineering teams and the account/customer team and CABO to work within the NSSR process.  The Solution Integrator works with the customer to document and define customer requirements.  After requirements are defined, the SI creates standard solution collateral collected from various technical inputs and compiles the cost for the related project work.  The solution collateral is submitted to CABO to submit for customer approval.  The SI must understand the DXC offerings and a sound business understanding of how the solutioning and current pricing impact and how they can help improve the overall margin and performance of the accounts they support. 

·  Core Deliverables
·  Use of and promotion of standard tools and processes in support of the solutioning activities across accounts, hubs and clusters
·  Reduction in solution cost and increased margin by TAT improvement, accurate solution estimates, and better use of low cost resources for delivery
·  Create the standard solution collateral:
·  Use of the Global Service Index to estimate standard work activities and re-use to reduce overall solution effort
·  Capture various solution components such as; requirements, risks, assumptions, contingencies, effort estimates, bill of labor, duration and lead time, vendor quotes, etc
·  Creation of the Solution Summary Template which aligns the various solution components to the standard CABO proposal template to produce a single cohesive solution
·  Populate the standard cost model with cost for one time project labor and procurement items.
·  Conduct Peer Reviews on solutioning content as applicable
·  Conduct Technical Solution Review to obtain approval from three delivery approvers
·  Detailed Responsibilities
·  Follow standard processed and tools within Request management process to provide solutions to customer demand
·  Understand your measurements and metrics to ensure compliance to process and achievement of targets/SLA
·  Work closely with partner organizations develop relationships to become a part of the larger team to improve the customer experience
·  Leverage partner organizations to gain feedback on solutions, understanding customer priorities and escalations, SLA or TAT issues, etc
·  Provide overall ownership and accountability for the solution including escalations, rework and solution accuracy
·  Work with CABO to ensure data accuracy and consistency in the workflow tools.  Ensure components and work activities are assigned, the start and end dates are accurate to enable accurate milestone reporting.
·  Participate in any required meetings to explain, defend or obtain feedback on the solution.  These may include pre or post sales governance meetings, customer calls, or any handoff between solutioning to the implementation teams
·  Carefully work to automate and improve processes to reduce effort and involvement in the solutioning processes.  Do this by driving “Shift left” and creating repeatable standard content SRM can use to reduce SI involvement.  Expand the scope and usage of the GSI to reduce reliance on SME participation. 
·  Through Training and experience grow your understanding of the standard DXC offerings to build a more generalist skill set to enable less dependency on SME participations if different stages of the solution process.
·  Drive cost reductions and the right behavior throughout the process by helping others understand the cost of the solution activity, the areas where we can lower cost and/or gain margin by making better solution and implementation decisions through better visibility of the end to end workflow 
·  Requirements Gathering
·  Participate in Triage as scheduled to help determine complexity and scope (NSSR vs AGR).
·  Determine any SME participation required in TRR and obtain resources as needed
·  Drive customer discussion during TRR to document and obtain customer acceptance.  Schedule and facilitate any follow-up TRRs if more than one is required
·  Works with the client to identify customer business problems, asks probing questions, resolve concerns, and creates solutions to fit business needs while building relationships of trust
·  Relentlessly pursue the reduction in requirements gathering time and effort
·  Solutioning
·  Determine any SME participation required in Solutioning and obtain resources as needed
·  Follow standard solutioning processes and leverage the GSI, re-use repository, and account catalogs to produce a more consistent solution
·  Drive reduction in overall solutioning time to increase speed to revenue, increased term, and reduction in solution cost
·  Conduct Technical Solution Review to obtain approval from each of the following three roles or their delegates:
·  APL – Approve the Project Management effort hours, skill, and schedule
·  LODE – for technical approval of the solution.  The solution is consistent with the account architecture and the solution is within confines of the delivery led solutioning scope.
·  ARL – The delivery approval that the solution meets the accounts standard delivery practices, locations and work placement guidelines
·  Costing
·  Use of standard costing tools (e3t and SpeedQuote)
·  Leverage GSI for consistent costing inputs
·  Follow the standard templates to produce the correct capability/task alignment and the creation of the Project WBS attributes and Aldea component orgs
·  Promote the use of the standard model as the single source of truth for project implementation cost.  Update the model when changes are presented.

·  Requirements

 Education

·          Bachelor´s degree in System / Computer Engineering, related field or equivalent experience.
·          Fluency in English language (spoken and written)          

Experience :

·          Advanced experience in server administration (Wintel, Unix, Linux)
·          Strong Knowledge in Database or Middleware Technologies.
·          Virtualization and Cloud skills.
·          Experience in solution activities, design or engineering.
