We are looking for motivated Developers and Engineers to join DXC’s Azure Professional Services team.

The DXC Azure Professional Services team enables customers’ digital transformation journeys with best practices, innovation and technical leadership for adoption of Microsoft Azure services.

You will work as a member of the DXC Azure team and be responsible providing advice and technical consulting to our customers in the adoption of Azure.  In addition, you will contribute to the development of standards and accelerators for architecture, design and delivery of Azure services. You will also support DXC Azure offering and service delivery teams with guidance on applying these best practices.

Roles available for multiple specializations including:

·  Application Development on Azure
·  Platform Automation and DevOps on Azure
·  BigData Management and Analytics on Azure

Responsibilities:

·  Delivery of Azure technical consulting engagements for DXC customers including reference architecture definition and MVP implementation
·  Technical leadership in architecture, development and deployment of Azure based solutions for DXC customers and offering teams
·  Develop IP, best practices and knowledge assets to be re-usable and shared across DXC
·  Embed Devops practices and automation into delivery of customer projects
·  Actively contribute to a culture of high performance, innovation and continuous improvement.

Specialisation Experience Requirements:

·  Application Development
·  Experience developing highly scalable, available and resilient applications on Azure
·  Applied experience developing applications with .NET, Java or similar
·  Leveraging microservices, 12 factor design and serverless architecture for application implementation
·  Familiarity building applications on Azure PaaS services including AKS, Service Fabric and database platform services
·  Experience leveraging Azure DevOps for agile development and CI/CD
·  AZ-203 : Azure Developer Associate  or AZ-400: Azure DevOps Expert preferred

·  Platform Automation and DevOps
·  Design and develop automation to support CI/CD processes, automated environment build
·  Applied experience with orchestrator and provisioning technologies for IaaS, PaaS and container-based platforms
·  Implementation and management experience with cloud networking technologies
·  Azure IaaS and PaaS administration
·  Expertise and proficiency in security implementation best practices for cloud platforms and MS Azure
·  Scripting in Powershell and automation using ARM
·  AZ-103 Azure Administrator Associate or AZ-400: Microsoft Azure DevOps certification preferred

·  BigData Management and Analytics
·  Design and develop data management and analytics solutions on Azure
·  Applied experience with Azure database services including SQL Database, MySQL, PostGresSQL and CosmoDB
·  Applied experience with Azure analytics services including Databricks, Data Lake, HDInsight and others
·  Experience with database migration and data ingestion in public cloud
·  Scripting and automation experience in Azure
·  DP-200/201 : Azure Data Engineer Associate certification preferred

             

Requirements:

·  A first experience in developing and deploying enterprise solutions, with Microsoft technology stack preferred
·  A first experience in designing and deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure platform
·  Experience with public cloud platforms, including design, implementation and workload migration.
·  Microsoft Azure certification strongly appreciated
