DXC technology is looking for a Automation Engineer with a good knowledge of Operation Orchestration to joing DXC Cloud&Platform offering.
The ideal candidade has gained experience in designing, developing and setting up the ITSM, ITOM and Automation platforms as a foundation, enabling business processes for our clients.
You will play a key role in the Automation field, being required to provide end to end technical excellence and leadership in identifying automation opportunities, helping drive best practices and standard policies.
Responsabilities:
· Support the design and implementation of ITSM/Automation platforms, combining technical expertise with business understanding to create superior solutions
· Review and translate customer needs into detailed technical requirements.
· Support client workshops, gathers detailed requirements, and ensures technology design and solutions are aligned with business requirements.
· Support tool configuration consistency across development, test, staging and production environments.
· Support ongoing production and end user support.
· Create and maintain API and data integration processes between ITSM&Automation platforms and other services.
· Provide input to project plans, requirements documentation, scope, time estimates, and resource allocation
· Perform unit testing, system integration testing, performance testing, user acceptance testing, or any client-specific testing
· Ensure the latest releases of ITSM&Automation applications are implemented in a timely manner with minimal or no disruption to production operations.
Requirements:
· Knowledge of Automation technologies & Orchestration framework. Should be capable of developing scripts, playbooks and workflows on HPOO, Ansible, Service Now Orchestrator, SCOM Orchestration.
· Proven experience in design, development and delivery of ITSM/ITOM/Automation solutions (3 or more years); experience with ITIL Service Management processes
· Experience in ServiceNow Platform development, configuration and customization (1 or more years)
· Experience with Run Book Automation, API integration, and orchestration solutions.
· Expertise in the APM domain , experience with Dynatrace (design, installation, configuration) is preferred.
· Experience with infrastructure configuration management platform (i.e. Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
· Basic experience in integrate Cloud environments, (Public, Private, Hybrid) is preferred
· 1-2 years of experience with software development, especially in Linux environment with one or more of the following languages - Java, JavaScript, C++, Perl, Python, Bash, Ruby,PowerShell
· Familiarity with SOA technologies including as REST, SOAP.
· Experience in CICD tools like Jenkins, Github, Artifactory
Technical Skills in at least 2 of the following technical areas :
· IT Service Management Solutions (BMC Remedy, Service Now, IPSoft, IBM Maximo or equivalent solutions)
· Systems Management Tools (Nagios, CA Nimsoft, , HP Operations Manager (HPOM), HP Operations Manager I (HP OMi), HP Business Service Management (HP BSM), Sitescope HP Network Node Manager (HP NNMi), Microsoft SCOM, IBM Tivoli/Netcool suìte or equivalent solutions)
· APM (Application Performance Monitoring) solutions : Dynatrace, AppDynamics, HPE APM Suìte or equivalent
· Client Portal / Catalog Solutions (ServiceNow portal, Propel, SharePoint, or equivalent client experience portal)
· Configuration and Discovery Tools (HP UCMDB, BMC Atrium, HP DDMI/UD, Service Now Discovery, Microsoft SCCM or equivalent solutions)
· Task Automation and Software Distribution Tools (HP Server Automation (HPSA), Ansible, HP Client Automation Enterprise (HP CAE), Microsoft SCCM or equivalent solutions), IBM Big-Fix
Certifications:
· DynatraceAssociate/Professionalpreferred
· ITIL Foundations certification preferred
· ServiceNow CSA preferred
· ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM/ITBM or other preferred
Working place:
Main location will be Milan (MI).
