Assists other sales personnel in planning and executing selling, qualifying and closing opportunities within assigned area. Assists in developing and develops customer relationships and referral networks to provide sales leads and generate sales. Builds and cultivates company and industry knowledge to provide enhance career development and support business needs. Essential Job Functions Works with sales personnel to orient and learn company offerings, products and services. Supports sales specialists on sales calls, requests for proposals (RFPs) and overall customer support. Assist in developing and executing cold calling strategies to prospect targets for assigned comapny offerings, products or services. Identifies needs, establishes relationships and networks with current and prospective clients for referral business. Pre-qualifies and cross-sells solutions. Reports to sales personnel or management on customer relationships, pipeline, forecasts and new prospects. Develops business plans for accounts to meet or exceed sales, marketing and customer satisfaction objectives, under sales staff guidance. Prepares proposals and assists in developing solutions. Coordinates account lists, prepares customer prospect profiles, and participates in marketing programs and events. Monitors market environment, monitoring and remaining abreast of competitor activities, industry developments and market trends. Summarizes and/or details findings to support sales activities. Presents findings to sales specialists or management. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred Zero or more years of sales, business development or marketing experience Other Qualifications Interpersonal skills for interacting with team members and prospective clients Analytical skills to assess client needs and translate into sale Interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and prospective clients Oral and written communication skills to listen to team members and client and articulate back for solutioning Basic sales and client relationship skills Organization and time management skills Ability to create and maintain formal and informal networks Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Ability to work in a team environment Ability to operate in a fast paced environment, assimilating large amounts of information quickly Willingness to travel Work Environment Office environment
