The Digital Transformation Centres (DTC) are expanding rapidly to meet the demand for agile driven solutions from our extensive customer base. Our technical roles offer you the chance to grow your skills and experience in a multitude of environments and technologies in platforms, micro-services, cloud migrations, CI/CD pipelines, containers, automation, robotics and some of the best Dev Ops Tooling whilst working alongside some of the most talented people in DXC.
Responsibilities:
• Interpret client business requirements to enable the design of the Oracle Cloud based solutions in a hybrid environment fitting “new with old” services:
o SaaS (Cloud Applications)
o PaaS (Integration Cloud)
o IaaS (Cloud Hosted Solutions
• Produce excellent design documentation and communicate in the project specified language (English)
• Develop and deliver creative presentations
• Gather and document customer requirements in workshops, meetings and one-to-one discussions
• Design end to end solutions based on Oracle cloud within hybrid environments
• Identify solution gaps if any appear and try to close using standard functionality
• Where this cannot be done to analyze, document the functional gaps and to draw up options
• Write design documentation for identified and agreed gaps/functional extensions to enable an Oracle Technical Builder to develop the solution code
Essentials:
Should be experienced in some or all of the following areas:
• Oracle cloud consultant or architect with strong/good knowledge of multiple Oracle Cloud based solutions covering:
o Oracle SaaS based applications (Finance and SCM)
o Oracle IaaS
o Oracle PaaS; and
o Oracle Technology • Knows and can use Oracle Unified Methodology (OUM)
• Demonstrable experience of gathering customer requirements in workshops, meetings and oneto-one discussions
• Demonstrable experience of interpreting the requirements and design of the Oracle Cloud applications to support requirements and business processes
• Write required documentation to a good level of English
The candidate should demonstrate:
• Attention to detail with a pragmatic and enthusiastic attitude to work
• The Ability to learn new skills and technologies • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Desirables:
• Experience in other, related technologies that could be transferred with support and additional training
