We have an exciting opportunity to join Dunelm as a Web Trading Assistant.

If you are a comprehensive user of Excel and have great mathematical skills then this is the ideal role for you.

Job role

Take ownership and become an expert in your categories. Demonstrate an understanding of existing trading patterns, seasonal peaks and opportunities. From this you will independently review daily and weekly sales identifying any concerns and proposing actions to increase sales.

You will be working closely with the Merchandising team to protect stock availability based on stock anticipation of sales/inbound sales data. Working with key members of the web team to plan and execute season launches and associated workload on time and to brief.

You will be expected to maintain a high level of awareness of competitor and market activity in the designated categories, benchmarking performance and sharing knowledge.

Requirements

Awareness of the Dunelm.com customer and a passion for product. Previous experience working of within retail and an individual who is confident to carry out important tasks and be an effective communicator.

An understanding of a multi-channel function and excellent skills in using Excel and other PC Packages.
