Based in our newly refurbished Customer Service Centre in Radcliffe, you will be responsible for providing help and advice to our customers, whether they choose to shop in-store or online, you will be the positive difference in driving customer service excellence.

About us:

The Customer Service Centre is responsible for supporting the 30 million customers per year who choose to shop with Dunelm either in store or online. Customers can choose to call, email, write or use social media when getting in touch.

The Dunelm Customer Contact Team is organised into 2 main teams: Service Operations and Service Support. The Service Operations Teams are the ones talking to customer’s day in, day out with the Service Support Team making sure the teams are trained appropriately, delivering the right quality, have efficient systems and processes to work with and who make sure everyone is available for customers at the right time.

The Role:

  • As a Customer Service Advisor you will be responsible for resolving customer queries, issues and complaints as a first point of contact
  • You will be responsible for managing all customer follow up activity and performing appropriate transactional activity on the relevant systems
  • You will deliver high quality of customer service in all Voice, Email and Letter standards
  • Promote and maintain high standards of written and verbal communication and maintain a gold standard
  • Proactive in looking for ways to add value to the customer through up/cross-selling to match customer needs
  • The role will be contracted to 30 hours per week

  • An individual who has effective time management, prioritising and managing /taking ownership of own workload
  • Adaptable and open to new ideas by being proactive with the ability to use your own initiative
  • Good level of literacy with Microsoft Office experience -proficient in all Microsoft Office Packages
  • Have a passion for Customer Service with a 'can do’ attitude
  • An individual with an appreciation for confidentiality
