Job description
We are looking for an Assistant to fill this important role at our Head Office in Tunbridge Wells. Drakes Plumbing Supplies Ltd is an Independent Plumbers Merchant with eight branches and 55 staff. We are an established name in the industry and have been employing local people for over 30 years.
The role includes delivering administrative support to the management team, with specific responsibility for maintenance of the HR and payroll systems and associated paper records. You will be providing professional and confidential administrative support across the full employee life cycle, including contracts of employment, sickness and absence recording as well as advice to staff on a range of HR and payroll matters.
In addition, this role provides support to the Office Co-ordinator in administering company property, leases and other service contracts related to the business, as well as telephone answering and routine office tasks.
You must be highly organised, professional and thorough with a strong academic background and experience in an HR and payroll environment. Good IT skills are essential.
Hours are 35 per week (9am-5pm) with additional benefits.
