Nike Jemiyo is a MOBO Award Nominee, Singer-Songwriter, with an online fan base of 22,000 subscribers and 8 million video views

This role is at the heart of her promotional activity, responsible for management of PR liasions and working with the project team to launch her ''Better Version'' campaign which aims to inspire young women to overcome limiting stereotypes, relationships or fears that hold them back from being the best version of themselves. The campaign comprising of the Better Version of Me single, accompanying video, the Better Version mobile app and the surrounding PR and social media activity.

We are looking for a bright, confident, music pr student who is keen to gain hands on experience.

As part of the Music PR Team you will be responsible for:

-Writing and distributing press releases
-Writing feature articles
-Monitoring relevant publicity opportunities (print, online and social media)
-Researching the music market
-Maintaining and developing our media database
-Answering telephones and fielding calls
-Liaising with editors and journalists
-Contributing to brainstorming and to develop creative ideas for the campaign

Qualities needed to be a success within this role;

-Enthusiastic, personable, genuine and hardworking.
-Ability to work unsupervised to hit deadlines and meet targets
-Demonstrably excellent writing, communication and social media skills
-An eye for detail
-A confident telephone manner
-Good office IT application skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
-Must be available to work 1 day a week, on either Tuesday or Wednesday unpaid for the 1 month as soon as possible
