The Role

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Executive will have 2 main responsibilities:

  • Managing current reseller and dealer accounts to drive new business and opportunities by using a consultative approach to sell Cloud Telephones products and services
  • Identifying and recruiting new IT resellers and telecoms dealers to sell our solutions to our clients. This will involve proactively identifying new business opportunities and arranging client meetings.

The successful applicant will also require to build a good understanding of technologies and services we sell, the processes, systems and how solutions are deployed and utilised.

Your responsibilities and duties will include, although not be limited to:

  • Lead generation
  • Dealing with day to day account queries
  • Helping to achieve sales targets
  • Placing product orders on behalf of our reseller and dealers using an internal system
  • Analyse cost savings for prospective clients and partners
  • Contributing to business development and marketing strategies
  • Maintaining and keeping CRM records up-to-date

To be considered for the role, you will have the following experience, skills, knowledge and attributes:

  • Proven experience achieving sales targets in (ideally, but not necessarily), business telecoms and connectivity
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent partner relationships
  • A consultative approach to sales
  • Working knowledge of VoIP, networks, broadband and leased line solutions
  • Superb communication skills, with a friendly and approachable manner
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • IT Literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
