Context
The role is positioned in the International Supply Centre (ISC) Engineering team providing Capital Project support to Cameronbridge Distillery, Leven Spirit Supply, Leven Packaging and Maturation Sites.  The overall purpose of this team is to deliver the strategy for asset development. For this role this includes: 

•             Use specialist knowledge to deliver capex projects to correct technical specification.
•             Managing efficient spend for capex projects.
•             Co-ordinating and managing external resources.

The role holder while primarily be supporting sites in the Central Belt of Scotland but may be required from time to time support other business areas, this will be determined by business priorities. 

The role holder will have a mechanical, electrical or process engineering background.

Purpose of the Role
The purpose of the role is to manage capex engineering project delivery and budgets within Cameronbridge, Leven Spirit Supply, Leven Packaging and Central Sites.

Top 3-5 Accountabilities
Deliver annual capex plans ensuring projects are delivered on time, within cost and to the expectations of the business.
Use specialist and engineering knowledge to provide technical specifications and costs for capex projects.
Liaise with external resources / contractors and deploy appropriate resources to ensure project delivery.
Ensure compliance with appropriate Health, Safety and Environmental standards.

Qualifications and Experience Required
Professional Electrical, Mechanical Engineer or Process Engineer who has developed within their area of expertise by attaining qualifications and / or specialist skills. Considerable experience and professional development in areas such as project management (APM or equivalent) is required. Strong health and safety experience and relevant qualification i.e. NEBOSH. Good at networking to establish excellent relationships, effective influencer, with excellent communication skills.
