ABOUT THE ROLE
Diageo Bailey’s Global Supply serves the world-wide demand for Bailey’s Irish Cream, whilst also manufacturing and distributing Sheridan’s, various value brands and has also developed new products such as Baileys Minis and Baileys Flavours. Baileys itself is the world's top selling liqueur brand and one of Diageo's four global priority brands. The total case volume in a given year would be approximately 6.7 million cases across all brands with 400 stock keeping units (SKU's) and 6,500 sales orders.
Responsible for order execution for a number of markets, the Market Service Owner will manage all aspects of service post order entry to meet customer requirements whilst also preparing export documentation and recording and reporting on KPI’s relating to customer service. Tasks include Transport Loading Building (TLB), order management, coordinating transport operations and assist production to meet customer demand.
There will also be a continuous improvement element to the role with expectations on improving key KPI’s and pulling cost out of the business where possible.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful applicant will manage order dates in line with production planning and despatch requirements whilst liaising with carriers to book capacity, secure shipping instructions, confirm shipments and resolve/escalate issues. Equally, they will prepare and collate order documentation, including legalisation, to meet market requirements with emphasis on C&E compliance.
This individual will also liaise with the Regional Hubs to resolve service issues and they will monitor and record reasons for order failure to support KPI measures, provide ownership for and input into corrective actions for misses.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
· Have an export qualification with some experience in a logistics, export related or customer service environment
· Demonstratable experience of working within a Supply Chain environment
· Some experience of using Supply Chain systems- SAP would be a real benefit
· Knowledgeable around Supply chain processes E.g. planning, replenishment, make to order fulfilment, manufacturing, materials and services supply
· Some experience of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint essential
· Experience of Customs and Exports
· Stellar interpersonal skills
