This role is responsible for assisting the Brand Manager of Johnnie Walker, strategically integrating Johnnie Walker Red Label content and growth drivers and providing execution leadership to deliver the Brand Plan.
In assisting the Brand Manager, you will develop skills in marketing strategy development, brand communication and activation, consumer insight, channel and customer marketing development, and project management.
Responsibilities:
1. To assist and support holistic end-to-end leadership of Johnnie Walker Brand Manager – from identifying insights to developing concepts to launch & activation & measures & evaluations – with a focus on excellence in execution
a. Develop and provide understanding of consumer, customer, & market insights, & opportunities translating this to a compelling long term brand growth strategy & annual plans that maximizes growth while strengthening brand equity
b. Inspire, collaborate, and monitor multi-functional project teams (both internal & external teams) to deliver high execution standards of all marketing activities
2. To develop and execute digital marketing and influencer plans for Johnnie Walker Red Label
a. Lead insights into content and influencer marketing strategies to produce, edit and distribute high-quality original content for multiple social platforms to grow audience, awareness and engagement metrics
b. Contribute to editorial calendar keeping content refreshed, accurate and up-to-date; work closely with agencies & brand team to develop ideas for content, showcasing specific / seasonal themes and events
c. Work with the Digital and Influencer Management agency teams to create and execute a weekly shot list of continuous photography needs
3. To develop and leverage monitoring / tracking strategies to monitor and evaluate impact of activities in the market
a. Develop reports on program effectiveness in market and make recommendations for program enhancement and improvement
b. Liaise with Digital, Influencer, Customer Marketing and Sales teams and provide timely competitor and trade check reports across all channels
Qualifications and Experience:
· Must be 18 years old and above
· Marketing, management, advertising, communications, or any other related course is preferred (though not required)
· Strong leadership skills with excellence in analysis and problem-solving
· Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
· Must be digital savvy and should have in depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms including but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Periscope, Snapchat etc.
· Must have knowledge and understanding of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere
· Candidate should be self-motivated, detail orientated, and able to prioritize multiple tasks
