Diageo is a global leader in beverage alcohol with iconic brands in spirits, beer and wine. We provide consumers with choice and quality across categories and price points.
The Supply Centre has a proactively managed pipeline of strategic projects aligned to delivery of our Mission and Goals. The purpose of the Programme Team is to support the ISCLT in development and brilliant execution of the pipeline.
As part of the team, you will be required to support the development and brilliant execution of the Strategic Project pipeline. This will include programme decision support, programme management and project management.

Responsibilities

·  To provide decision and financial support for strategic project development and initiation
·  To project manage development and delivery of strategic projects
·  To help shape the Strategic Programme Team as a value adding team
·  To provide financial support for analysis to support future strategy development – eg benchmarking

Skills Required

·  Qualified accountant
·  Experience in a commercial environment
·  Experience in Manufacturing environment
·  2 + years' experience
·  Track record of brilliant execution and a desire to make a difference
·  Track record of using functional skills to make a difference
·  Able to present a compelling business case to drive effective decision making
·  An enquiring & analytical mind capable of seeing the big picture while also demonstrating attention to detail.
·  Experience of managing and participating in cross functional teams, with a proven ability to engage, communicate and influence across levels/functions
·  Experience of Project and Change Management techniques and of significant change programmes
