This role reports to the Customer Marketing Manager
Context/Scope:
The programmes and growth drivers developed by the shopper marketing for all the categories are important for the performance of the Reunion Hub.The Reunion Market represents 83% of NSV (Net Turnover) of the Hub and this role is one of the most important to shape the future of alcohol retailing in the Off and On Trade.
Purpose of role:
· To build a current year brand and commercial activity plan and build the full customer Off Trade brand plan and calendar in synergy with sales
· To create and execute outstanding consumer and customer activities that drives our brands in off Trade
· To understand our customers so you will know where to prioritise execution of key activities, in order to ensure maximum impact
· Take full ownership of the channel to implement full year brand activation plans – working with CMM / KAM – that deliver against our key category strategy.
· Working with sales team to develop opportunity and implement them
· To lead analysis of your activations, sharing best practice
· Ensure our A&P and trade investments are used efficiently, driving the ROI via rigorous M&E. By respecting the M&E procedures (number of M&E, respect the M&E Agenda…).
· Improve the implementation of each activation by following the key KPI's fixed before the activation
· To overcome barriers which have traditionally prevented us from having the right level of impact at point of purchase
· Support the commercial, marketing and finance team to achieve our NSV, TP, Cash and volume targets for the year.
· Support the shopper marketing for the QBR presentation
· Ensures full compliance with CARM, Diageo Code of Conduct and DMC.
Top Accountabilities:
· The CP&A is responsible for all Premium Core and Reserve product in the Off trade
· Deliver a significant step change in the quality of commercial planning and activation à Facilitate / enable brilliant execution of our category and brands
· Lead excellence in commercial planning à build a strong plan to take commercial planning to the next stage to deliver real value to the business a,d achieve F17 ambition
· Engage and influence the commercial / marketing team and customer to significantly change current ways of working and implement best practice in the planning, delivery and execution of our category and brands à Build strong relationship with marketing and sales team
· Co-lead the delivery and execution of best in class POS Solutions that meet our commercial activations requirement à Guardians of POS produced and executed in outlet is effective in achieving our category / brands objectives
· Build a strong relationship with POS and Hostess partners that allows you to demand the best work they can deliver
· Ability to deliver brilliant execution in outlet and find solution. Also ability to drive change and inspire / influence others to get behind new ideas Good understanding of customer both their businesses and their shoppers
Qualification & Experience:
· Experience in the drink industry
· Minimum 2 years' experience in marketing and sales team
· Good commercial understanding with 1 year working with or for customer/distributors
· English fluent / French Fluent
· Ability to plan sales target to deliver strong brand and customer outcomes
· Capability to create detailed activation plans aligned to the delivery of our financial objectives
· Can flex between long term planning and activation project detailed
· Understand and passion for the customer, consumer and shopper
· Can create the conditions for successful internal planning between functions and execution with customer – Engaging stakeholders
· Play a significant role in the development of a market leading innovation agenda
· Support on some project such as the QBR and the Scorecard
