Europe Partner Markets (EPM) is the fastest growing market in Europe with a high potential business. EPM was formed from Eastern Europe Partner Markets (spirit business) and Guinness Continental Europe (beer distribution in Europe, Russia and Turkey). It represents all the businesses in Europe where Diageo operates through third party distributors (in 54 countries), which is organised into 3 business units (CEE, SEE and Beer).
EPM has a unique business model, which requires close co-operation with distributors, joint strategic planning, market activations and exchange of data.
Using these data Commercial Finance is a true business partner of EPM Leadership Team and provide insights for driving business performance, lead pricing process and support decision making.
Commercial Finance organisation was designed to meet these requirements – there are 3 business partners dedicated to each business units and there is a central team that manages the standard reporting, BPM and pricing processes including the supporting technical tools and data.

Purpose of the role
Provide support to BPM and reporting process through establishing a solid platform (COGNOS and Excel tools) for capturing and consolidating data.
First point of contact for distributors to collect depletion and stock data in a standardised and most effective way.
Support CFM EPM and Finance Business partners with data analysis and generate insights for decision making.

Duties
•Maintenance of Excel tools supporting BPM and planning process.
•Consolidate internal and external data on a monthly basis in COGNOS and issue reporting suite for EPM.
•Develop changes in reporting suite and data structure in line with Europe reporting and business requirements.
•Manage depletion and stock data with distributors and consolidate these at EPM level for internal and Europe reporting.
•Data analysis for CFM EPM and Finance Business partners (depletions, stock, historic data)

Requirements
•University or college degree in Business/Finance
•2 years relevant work experience in finance (RTR, Corporate Finance, Finance Systems& Data, etc)
•Solid SAP and financial database experience (COGNOS knowledge is an asset)
•Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
•Financial modelling skills is an asset
•Strong process and control mind set
•Good numerical and computer literacy skills
•Fluency in English is a must
•MS Office (MS Excel, Outlook are essential)
