Context/Scope:
PEBAC is a business unit formed by 5 countries (Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Argentina & Chile) with similar market contexts, trends and opportunities across them. Its ambition is to change the way consumers celebrate in those countries. Purpose of role:
The main purpose of this role is to ensure there is a proper embedding of the Controls, Compliance and Ethics program. This encompasses:
· The management of the CARM process that provides assurance on our controls environment
· The rollout of key global initiatives (e.g. KYBP, NGC, KYD, etc. . . )
· Ensuring our employees receive proper training on our CoBC and key global policies and standards
· Support with investigation of breaches of our code or global policies
· Support the Global Risk & Compliance (GRC) Team with annual processes such as the ACC
· Support with the rollout of changes in the business from a controls perspective (e.g. defining the new processes and ways of working with new third parties, such as SMS or Grupo Penaflor)
· Coordinate key risk management deliverables including the follow-up/coordination of Crisis Management / Business Continuity Planning and support to the PEBAC RMC
Top 3-5 Accountabilities:
· Delivery of the annual CARM Process including relevant training and administration of BWise. Be the primary liaison between the GRC team and PEBAC. Ensure each phase of the process (mapping, scoping, design assessments, reviews, testing, sign-off) is completed on time and with the right level of rigor using a risk-based approach and in line with global instructions.
· Support the market in developing internal reviews/ projects to ensure that the control framework is working as expected (e.g. appropriate SLA with SMS)
· Support the Head of CC&E PEBAC by providing training in relevant Local & Global Policies including Induction to new employees and Compliance Day.
· Support the Head of CC&E PEBAC with breach investigations as deemed necessary and appropriate ensuring all investigations are managed as per the Investigations Guidelines and reported in Ethicspoint in a timely fashion.
· Ensure at least Argentina and Chile are complying with key global requirements such as the proper implementation and training on KYBP, Crisis Management / Business Continuity Planning, H&S reporting, management of Information Asset Inventories, etc . . .
· Support the GM and the Head of CC&E PEBAC during GAR audits and follow up to the implementation of actions plans to ensure that audit findings are remediated. Support the GRC with key annual deliverables, such as the ACC, completion of certain e-learning trainings, etc
Qualifications and responsibilities:
Minimum 3-5 years' experience, including in a multinational corporate environment, with exposure to some of the following areas:
· External or Internal audit
· SAP
· FMCG industry experience
· Experience in multicultural/multilingual communication
· Process analysis and improvement Relationship management skills – proven experience of building, developing and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally (written and verbal).
Positively motivated to make a difference within and outside of functional area.
