Key Performance Indicators / Key responsibilities and deliverables:

·  Infrastructure DevOps: Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
·  Orchestration and automation of all software and configurations development lifecycle processes
·  Automated event recovery, monitoring and anomaly detection
·  Automation of build and deploy process, application asset management, Software Configuration Management (SCM)
·  Automated creation of environment, dynamic scaling, drift detection and remediation
·  Overall responsibility: Responsible for implementation, testing and operation of HW/ SW components of NFV.
·  Budget responsibility:    No    

Detailed job description, responsibilities:

·  Responsible for implementation, testing and operation of HW/ SW components of NFV.
·  Coordination of implementation and installing of HW/ SW components, provide support by problem solving
·  Responsible for administration and configuration of HW/ SW components
·  Responsible for integration of new technologies (HW/ SW), upgrades of HW/SW
·  Preparing and adapting of service catalogue, templates and application models
·  Responsible for review of techn. studies and design proposals for NFVI
·  Communication and cooperation with 3rd parties/ vendors
·  Participate on solving and eliminating of ops issues (incl. Ticket sending)
·  Monitoring/tracking performance of systems (KPI), dimensioning, and capacity planning rg. Future needs proposals for cost efficiency in terms of operation improvements.
·  Responsible for preparation and administration of the techn. Documentation
·  Participation in the projects, preparing of project documentation

Skills, capabilities

Education:

·  Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field

 Professional knowledge, skills, know-how in the field & experience in the field:

·  2  years experience in area of platforms design and testing, competence in NFVI, Openstack, KVM, orchestrators, admin of Unix/Linux based system

 Language skills:

·  English language – fluent (excellent verbal and written communication skills)

 Interpersonal, communication skills:

·  Main interfaces for the position:  internal PanNet employees, other PanNet companies, DT,  external 3rd parties
·  Excellent team player and motivator

 Other soft skills, competences:

·  Self-motivated
·  Highly collaborative
·  Flexibility to travel
·  Efficient communication, communication with 3rd parties

 Hard skills:

·  Compute, Network and Storage Infrastructure
·  Cloud OS, Operation SW and Hypervisors
·  IP Services
·  Public/Private Cloud Architectures
·  SDN, CEPH
·  CI/CD processes and tools (e.g. Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Git, Ansible etc.)
·  Knowledge of network hardware, TCP/IP, routing, switching, network security and telecommunication circuits
·  MS office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Visio, Project) – advanced
·  CCNA and ITIL Foundation certifications are preferred
