Job description
The following interesting tasks will be part of your day to day work:- Active collaboration in the Supplier Management Process of BuyIn, DT and Orange:
- Support in the preparation of Briefings for executives and managers
- Support in the preparation and comparison of product group strategies with supplier strategies
- Support in the strategic supplier performance evaluation and supplier development of local subsidiaries of Deutsche Telekom and Orange
- Demand and order volume analysis of relevant suppliers
- Handling and validation of essential data sources (tech. trends, market analysis, company operating figures and investor relations)

We offer you the possibility to extend your (mandatory) internship and write your thesis at BuyIn. Our department supports each year one student to write his/her thesis on a topic related to the internship.
The ideal candidate studies Business Administration and specializes in any of the following fields: International Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or Strategic Management. The internship has a duration of 6 months (including thesis preparation) starting on October 1st 2016.
The ideal candidate also possesses the following abilities and knowledge:
- Interest in the correlation between strategy, technology and procurement management
- Experience in managerial finance (especially controlling and reporting)
- Very good knowledge of standard software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ideally, working experience in an international environment and/or a multinational company
- Very good written and spoken English and German skills (French is a plus)
