What are you accountable for achieving as a Warehouse First Line Manager?
We are offering one exceptional candidate the chance to be a Warehouse First Line Manager to plan, co-ordinate, supervise and report upon the work activities of a team; providing effective communication, leadership, motivation, training & development.

Team Management
Direct the daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for team members
Deliver team member performance reviews, development and/or succession planning as appropriate
Facilitate effective communication and drive E.O.S
Manage all disciplinary and grievance issues (complaints) in line with HR policy
Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
Ensure company policies are communicated, applied and enforced
Organise and lead the focus on improved productivity levels

What will you need as a successful Warehouse First Line Manager?
Essential:

High school/secondary education
Excellent organisational skills
Minimum of 2 year experience of team management
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills
Excellent communicator (verbal & written)
Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
Computer literate
Knowledge of working time legislation
Good analytical and numerical skills
Experience of change management 
Experience of implementation management
If internal; good knowledge of E.O.S and to be able to demonstrate change through E.O.S ethos

Desirable:

Diploma/Certificate in Logistics/Freight Forwarding
