What are you accountable for achieving as a Warehouse Chargehand?

We are offering one exceptional candidate the chance to be a Warehouse Chargehand to provide efficient and professional warehouse leadership activities to enable the contract to meet all SLA’s, day to day management of Red Prairie/Unison and provide an excellent service to our customer.

Accountabilities:
Managing day to day Red Prairie/Unison activities (where appropriate)
Ensure productivity of the team and meeting daily targets
Carrying out day to day management of a team of Warehouse Operatives
Working in a safe manner in accordance to SSoW
Processing paperwork - as required
Working to meet deadlines
Ensuring delivery of a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for team members in accordance with Health and Safety
Working within a physically demanding environment
Working accurately and within SLA 

What will you need as a successful Warehouse Chargehand?

Experience of working in a warehouse environment
Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
Ability to read, understand and follow directions /instructions
Ability to count accurately and to perform simple math calculations
Have appropriate hand, eye and foot co-ordination to effectively use equipment
Ability to move product which may require bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and/or lifting, in line with Health & Safety regulations
Experience of working with MHE
Knowledge of Health and Safety

Hours
Rotating shifts, 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm
