Your new job
In cooperation with the Lead Business Information Analyst (BIA), you'll play a crucial role in the implementation of our Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Transport Management Systems (TMS), Duty Management Systems (DMS) and related. These implementations are set up for large customers operating in a broad diversity of sectors (e.g. T&A). Most of your attention goes out to configuring, testing and documentation of WMS applications and their interfaces, as part of projects and/or change request. You will do this based on customer requirements and a solution blueprint which will be provided by the Lead BIA. It's your job to analyse and judge whether solutions are possible and to give back your thoughts and conclusions, in order to modify and optimize. For the analysis of data you'll use SQL.

Configuration happens mostly within existing and available system functionality. For new functionality we'll focus on developing and implementing standardized reusable solution. In this case you will use MOCA(SQL based language). After configuration you will also test and make sure proper documentation is set up. Not only will you configure our WMS and related systems, also you will integrate these with other solutions, such as TMS and DMS. Also, you'll be involved in go-live and hypercare support and the hand-over to the operations and support organizations.

Team Business Information Analysts
Located in Best our team of BIA's exist of 5 Lead BIA's and 12 Technical BIA's, from different ages and cultures. You will report to the Teamlead BIA. Depending on the project you'll work in a project team or solo. But since our team's ambiance is open and cooperative, we'll make sure to find each other for discussion and consultation. Innovation and fresh approach is an absolute must to make sure we can make a huge difference for our customers.

Requirements and possibilities

·  Whether you're recently graduated in IT (Bc or Mr) or comparable, or you have some experience in Business Information Analytics, we're interested in both!
·  You'll need good analytical skills and experience in SQL technology
·  Besides you have great communicative skills, needed for explaining technical info to non-techs and vice versa, but also to explain why certain solutions are simply not possible and why certain changes could be the best alternative
·  Added with testing and training skills.
·  Knowledge of WMS, MOCA and BABOK is a huge advantage, but not mandatory
·  You have good knowledge of English, knowledge of Dutch is (again) a huge advantage
·  In this position you get the chance to fully develop your IT skills and to make steps in an international (also travelling is part of the job) and demanding environment
