Overall Role Profile:

Member of the Terminal Based Operations team for Freight UK, Reporting to Head of Network Development. Terminal Based Operations (TBO) cover all Domestic and International (Europe), palletised groupage freight movements. Key responsibilities to support the TBO organisation from both and analytical and project management perspective. To ensure the organisation is furnished with relevant business intelligence and the ability to translate that information into tactical improvement plans.

Key Activities:

To create and develop business intelligence reports critical to monitoring a success set of business improvements

 

To support the operation with implementation plans for improvements

 

To both review, maintain and create modelling tools for departmental and wider operational use

 

To provide a support function to the members of the operations team and specifically, the Network development team, with regard to the strategic projects that they will be working on.

To support the business (and specifically the operational teams), in relation to product development initiatives

​

 

To work closely with the Operation on improvement initiatives in the area of increasing service levels, overall quality and profitability for both Domestic and international customers.

 

To continually challenge the “AS IS” situation with innovative views as to how we can continually improve service offering and profitability position.
