What are you accountable for achieving as a Supervisor Fuels? 
We are offering one exceptional candidate the chance to be a Supervisor Fuels .The role will hold the O Licences and assume direct responsibility for the management of multi-contract drivers at the West London and Hythe depots.
They will ensure the completion of regular driver engagement, driver and vehicle compliance , adherence to internal and external HSE legislation and overall operational performance. The position will be primarily based in West London.                                                                                                                                                    

CPC holder for the two locations with responsibility for ensuring the site operators in line with DHL O Licence standards at all times. 
Assist in the preparation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for both internal and customer use, in accordance with agreed timescales i.e. volumes, accidents and supply to Contract Team for creation of customer reporting.                                                                                                                    
Investigate and review all dropped loads and service issues, provide written reports to the Operations Controller    
To comply with Company and Legislative Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times           
Fully investigate accidents / incidents and keep Health & Safety training records current for all colleagues under their direct responsibility  
Download and provide Forward Facing Camera data to insurance providers within specified time        
Carry out regular health & safety briefings providing relevant training/information and ensure all H&S Notice Boards under your control are current and up to date and contain all relevant Company & Legal information                                                                                                                          
Ensure that all associated work equipment are maintained in a fit and serviceable condition at all times and colleagues carry out safety checks on work equipment prior to use in accordance with agreed timescales.                                                                                                                              
Control vehicle & trailer damage costs to below budget level                                                                             
Maintain vehicle Tachograph & engineering records (Op's 13 / Torque register, Tachomaster, Key 2, etc) 
Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)                                                                         
Work in collaboration with maintenace service providers to ensure vehicle compliance                           
Contribute to the continuous improvement through using lean/CI tools to involve drivers in order to deliver benefits for both DHL and customers.  
All other duties as requested by your Line Manager and within your capability                                               
Maintain local relationships with vehicle maintenance providers                                                                       
Ensure all immediate reports are provided with the relevant PPE and wear these at all times                 
Ensure compliance with all Road Transport Legislation including O Licence, Safe loading passes.        
Complete daily tractor and trailer checks through yard walks                                                                            
Review data from "in cab" monitoring systems/tachographs/vehicle telemetry and use the information for effective engagement and management of the drivers.    

What will you need as a successful Supervisor Fuels?
Working in a unionised environment                                                                                                                           
Bulk Tanker Experience                                                                                                                                                 
Minimum 2 years experience of team management                                                                                                               
Good analytical and numerical skills                                                                                                                           
Ability to engage with drivers and communicate data and information relating to their driving style, legal compliance and overall performance   
Computer literate                                                                                                                                                              
Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements                                                                                                            
Knowledge of Road Transport Legislation and digital tachographs                                                                   
South East of UK                                                                                                                                                               
Educated to secondary educational level .                                                                                                                
Transport CPC International                                                                                                                                          
Degree level or above                                                                                                                                                     
Marketing qualification
