Your tasks
You will be a key member of the Solution Design Team for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, delivering innovative and competitive facility designs to our customers. Your responsibilities will include developing supply chain solutions for complex projects, while identifying opportunities and scenarios. You will advise customers in addressing their needs, develop a commercial framework with business development and account managers to spur DSC's growth, increase contract retention and establish improvement objectives. Your work will extend to developing relationships with customers, securing feedback from key stakeholders and providing reports at critical milestones.

Your profile

·  Anywhere between 3-10 years' experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
·  Degree in (or with focus on) Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering
·  A high degree of computer literacy, with knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access; technical aptitude (use of different softwares)
·  Ability to demonstrate analytical and logical thinking; data manipulation skills are essential to this role
·  Able to build a solution that is not based on assumptions, but equally able to make assumptions and design accordingly, when necessary
·  Knowledge of the bidding process - how to respond to a Request for Quotation and how to differentiate the solutions from those of the competition.
·  Extensive experience with different sectors, customers, products and practices, especially Technology, Automotive or Life Science and Healthcare
·  Knowledge of Project Management, Product Flow, Warehouse Layout, Resource Modelling and Planning, Packaging, Storage and Pick Strategies
