We are offering two exceptional candidates the chance to be a Material Flow First Line Manager  to ensure seamless flow of material through the manufacturing plant. Customer 1st point of contact to resolve problematic issues with supply from stores. Proactive problem solving linked to change. Material Flow / WMS Super user.

What are you accountable for achieving as Material Flow First Line Manager?

Ensure that Material Flow  complies with all S.M.A.R.T. processes. Providing training & coaching to team members. 
Ensure Master Data within the customer systems is maintained/aligned (WMS, Material Flow, CMMS).
Report, action and investigate all market area minimum calls/nils.
Ensure route deliveries are balanced. Ensure WMS put away strategies are maintained.  
Ensure all line SMF requirements are fully met.
Control engineering changes to minimise cost to the customer & to DHL. 
Report, action and investigate all emergency line feed (ELF's) deliveries. 
Report issues to local shift manager.  
Work with the customer release & follow up team to ensure stock accuracy.  
Report potential threats to production to the customer.
Attend weekly meetings with the customer for S.M.A.R.T.  (Material Flow) performance & engineering changes. 
Ensure the Material Flow office complies with customer IMF standards.
Work with a maintain a relationship with DHL internal planning team.
Report any potential changes that could affect market area and line side minimums to the DHL planning team.  
Work with and maintain a relationship with DHL continuous improvement team. 
Support delivery of succession planning  

What will you need as a successful Material Flow First Line Manager?
Essential:

Advanced MS Office suite of software skills
Kaizen, material flow analysis experience
Objective setting
Key performance indicator development
People Management
Workload planning
Strong interpersonal skills
Highly analytical
Good presentation skills
Structured way of working/process driven
Strong personal drive

Desirable:
Educated to university degree level or equivalent professional
Knowledge if JLR systems (WMS/Material Flow/CMMS/6 Sigma)
Understanding of lean logistics principals
Understanding of budget management
1-2 years logistics industry experience
Project management experience
